(This Message was sent on the occasion of OLD STUDENTS MEET held during 1-3 May 2015 in connection with the 65th Anniversary of Zilla Parishad High School (ZPHS), Mopidevi [photos given below])

I am glad that the alumni of one of the temples of the new age, the ZPHS, Mopidevi, are celebrating 65th Anniversary. It is indeed my privilege to have studied in the school during 1967-72.
The lessons that we have learnt in the school led us to various streams of life and induced us over the years to contribute, in our own humble way, for the welfare of our next generation. Most importantly, our teachers taught us how to think and we have been carrying forward this knowledge in all spheres of our life. I salute all our teachers for this immense contribution.
It is time for us to give it back to our mother institution. Some of us are already involved in this endeavour and some of us, like me, are yet to be roped in. I am sure, the Meet, scheduled during 1-3 May 2015 will provide a forum to all of us to dedicate ourselves to this task.
Mopidevi is the Hqrs of a Mandal comprising 17 villages with no urban area. We have to improve schooling and other incidental facilities in and around Mopidevi to wholly eradicate illiteracy in the area, provide education and training in all the skills that our predominant agricultural society requires and prepare best citizens from our future generations who would continue our efforts.
I wish the OLD STUDENTS MEET a grand success.
